We are proud to present the 1st Alias Collection. Alias is our Street Art Hero and when we say “our” we mean the City of Berlin.
When one wanders about Berlin’s districts (sometimes from one bar to the next) running into his works is almost inevitable. And so it can happen that you pass by an ALIAS piece and moments later you find yourself dazzled by the visually power of expression that will eventually lead you to your own conclusion or interpretation…
Glue Boy is one of these pieces that I would describe as almost mysterious, when asked about its meaning ALIAS shook his head and replied “I never liked school however the piece was never intended to be a critique on education systems, although if this is what you see in it, then it might be about it…” very mysterious indeed!!!
Berlin based ALIAS belongs to the few omnipresent street art artists who have managed to create a unique style. He had his first encounters with street art at the turn of the millennium while living in Hamburg. Since 2003 he lives in Berlin where he has developed his unique street art approach and became a protagonist of a very vital urban art scene.
